Sleepy Hollow introduces new name for GM redevelopment

The development plan to rejuvenate the former General Motors Assembly site on the Sleepy Hollow waterfront area has a new name: Edge-on-Hudson.

Developers SunCal and Diversified Realty Advisors are teaming on the $1 billion joint venture, announced in late 2014 by the village and Westchester County.

The development, spread over 65 acres, will include over one thousand condominiums, townhomes and apartments, a hotel, entertainment, retail and office space, and 24 acres of parks and gardens.

GM Sells NY Hudson Riverfront Site for 1,177 Residences

SunCal and Diversified Realty Advisors bought the site of a former General Motors assembly plant on the Hudson River north of New York City to build properties including 1,177 residences and a hotel.

GM Picks JV to Develop Former Sleepy Hollow Plant

SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY – Village officials report that General Motors has signed a contract with a joint venture of Diversified Realty Advisors of Summit, NJ and the Irvine, CA-based developer SunCal to redevelop the former assembly plant on the  Hudson River shoreline here.

Hotel, homes planned for GM parcel in Sleepy Hollow

SLEEPY HOLLOW — General Motors has reached a development deal with two real estate companies for its site on the village’s waterfront.

Diversified Realty Advisors of Summit, N.J., and SunCal of Irvine, Calif., will partner on the 96-acre site to build 1,177 residences, 35,000 square feet of office space, 135,000 square feet of retail and a 140-room hotel.

GM Selects Developer for GM Site

Vacant for almost 17 years, the GM tract along the riverfront in Sleepy Hollow appears a step closer to being developed as a mixed use residential and commercial site. GM has named a developer to whom it intends to hand over the 96 acre site, according to Sleepy Hollow Mayor Ken Wray.
