Come Home to Sleepy Hollow, NY
The Hudson’s Next Hot Spot
There’s a lot more to Sleepy Hollow than the Headless Horseman. This storied Hudson Valley village has hosted a notorious pirate, a British spy, famous writers and generations of Rockefellers. Now it’s making way for an influx of entrepreneurs, creatives, young couples, trendy singles and urbanites in search of the Hudson Valley’s next burgeoning hot spot.
Steeped in history, Kykuit, the Rockefeller Estate, is here, as are the Rockefeller State Park Preserve, the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Old Dutch Church and Philipsburg Manor. Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow’s main street, will ultimately connect to Edge-on-Hudson so you can easily hit town for its sprinkling of trendy spots. The Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse (aka the Tarrytown Light)—a cast-iron sparkplug beauty built in 1883—is a beacon for the region, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
